A Brief History of St. Paddy’s Day☘️✨
We’ve all been there: squeezed into a crowded corner of a dim Irish pub, a cold Guinness in hand, surrounded by a sea of questionable plastic hats and "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" screen-printed tees that have seen better days.
But have you ever paused mid-sip to wonder how a 5th-century religious feast day turned into a global festival of parades, shamrocks, and emerald-dyed rivers?
From Saints to Parades ⛪➡️🍻
Believe it or not, the very first St. Patrick’s Day parade didn’t happen in Dublin—it happened in America! While the feast day has been observed in Ireland since the 9th or 10th century, it was actually Irish soldiers serving in the British army in New York City (1762) who kicked off the parade tradition to reconnect with their roots.
Eventually, the celebration morphed from a somber religious day into a massive show of Irish pride. And while the tradition of "drowning the shamrock" (finishing the day with a glass of whiskey or ale) is centuries old, the fashion has... evolved. We’ve gone from wearing actual shamrocks pinned to our lapels to, well, a lot of bright neon green.
Upgrade Your "Lucky" Charm 💎
This year, we’re proposing a new tradition: Ditch the disposable and embrace the embroidered. Let’s be honest—you’ve outgrown the itchy, one-time-use t-shirts. If you’re heading to the local Irish pub or a chilly outdoor beer garden this March, you deserve a "lucky" charm that actually looks as good as a perfectly poured pint.
Our St. Patrick’s Day Embroidered Appliqué Collection is the ultimate way to express your inner Irish with a touch of modern flair.
Why Embroidery? Because like a good Irish ballad, it lasts. Our green sequin "LUCKY" design and delicate embroidered bows offer a textured, premium look that stands out in the crowd (and stays intact long after the last toast is made).
