Christina & Breahna Bond Through Love of Family & Embroidery

How an Aunt, a Niece, and a Devoted Family are Crafting a Heartfelt New Venture

In a world that often moves a little too fast, Twist & Thread Co. is taking a moment to slow down and celebrate what matters most: family, shared memories, and genuine human connection. As a brand-new venture founded by an aunt and niece duo, we aren't just creating embroidery—we are weaving our family closer together, sharing laughter across the worktable, and building something beautiful for the generations to come.

The heart of Twist & Thread Co. rests on a special, lifelong bond between aunt Christina Tedeschi (Roselle, IL) and niece Breahna Noyes (Hanover Park, IL). For years, we’ve shared a love for creativity, and now we are bringing that shared vision to life in a small business of our own. Every single piece we create is filled with love, crafted by hand for people who appreciate the warmth of something truly handmade, whether they find us online or at a local neighborhood craft show.

"I still remember the day Breahna was born, and now here we are, sitting side-by-side and finishing each other's artistic thoughts. We have so much fun throwing ideas back and forth that the hours just fly by. Honestly, I just love that this business gives us an excuse to spend so much time together doing what we love."  Christina Tedeschi, Co-Founder

A True Family Circle

There are no assembly lines or automated robots here—just a family sitting around the table, working side by side. Turning a dream into reality takes patience and heart, and we find all the strength we need in the love and laughter of our family. This isn't just a business; it’s a family project where every packing day feels like a get-together, and every helping hand comes from the heart:

  • Christina & Breahna: The creative hearts of the shop, pouring their love into every design and handcrafted stitch.

  • Francine Canty: Christina’s sister and Breahna’s mom, who is the ultimate cheerleader. She keeps everyone grounded with her endless encouragement, helps prep materials, and is always there at craft shows to help pack up and share a laugh.

  • Anthony Tedeschi: Christina’s son, who quietly keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes by lending a hand with our technology and keeping us organized.

  • Karla Bahena: Anthony’s partner, our multi-talented creative soul who takes our beautiful photos, designs our lovely event displays, and helps share our family's story online.

  • David Tedeschi: Christina’s husband, our go-to tech helper who makes sure our computers and website behave themselves so we can focus on stitching.

  • Matt Noyes: Breahna’s husband, our resident muscle who lovingly handles the heavy lifting and makes sure all our gear gets safely to and from our live events.

Sharing Our Story with You

By blending our different generations and unique habits, we hope to create pieces that feel like home. We’re sharing the real, behind-the-scenes moments of our journey—the messy worktables, the proud smiles, and the family bloopers—with our growing community on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.

"It’s not about building a massive brand. It's about taking our family's love for making things and sharing it. Seeing our moms, husbands, and siblings all chip in to help us succeed is the most rewarding part of this entire adventure, even when we are little unhinged.  Breahna Noyes, Co-Founder
